Job Description
Staff Software Engineer designing scalable distributed systems for Grupo QuintoAndar, Latin America’s real estate ecosystem. Building AI-powered conversational journeys, microservices orchestration, and real-time ML systems.
Responsibilities:
- Drive technical execution as a Staff Software Engineer
- Solve high-impact distribution problems and build systems for the next decade
- Design highly scalable, resilient systems supporting low-latency conversational journeys, heavy microservices orchestration, and real-time ML processing
- Use Leadership Principles such as Dive Deep and Make it Great
- Participate in a unified selection process for multiple engineering teams
- Explore team placement based on experience, interests, and hiring needs
- Complete application, technical CV screening, recruiter interview, architecture screening, technical interviews, and offer stages
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software development, leading delivery of high-volume, high-concurrency, mission-critical distributed systems
- Deep knowledge of modern software architecture paradigms, distributed data consistency, fault tolerance, and system optimization
- Understanding of data-intensive applications and readiness to build architectures supporting Machine Learning/AI features at scale
- Ability to analyze and articulate engineering trade-offs concretely
- Capability to remove collaboration barriers, conduct difficult structural conversations, and foster an inclusive engineering culture
- Fluency in Portuguese and excellent English skills (mandatory)
