Job Description
Strategic Reporting Consultant advancing enterprise reporting and analytics for HCSC healthcare businesses. Governing data, standardizing metrics, and advising leaders, clients, and brokers on actionable insights.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Luminare Health’s enterprise reporting strategy and enforce standardized metric definitions, data governance standards, reporting policies, and best practices.
- Drive the strategic roadmap and prioritization of reporting and analytics initiatives.
- Own end-to-end delivery, adoption, and measurable business impact of enterprise reporting solutions.
- Partner with senior leaders, cross-functional teams, clients, and broker partners to translate business requirements into reporting and analytics solutions.
- Advise stakeholders on reporting and analytics capabilities and advance reporting maturity.
- Lead large-scale, enterprise-critical projects and transformation initiatives.
- Establish and oversee reporting application governance, data quality controls, and validation processes.
- Evaluate, prioritize, and implement enhancements to reporting content, tools, and capabilities.
- Develop and deliver training, system demonstrations, and thought leadership to promote self-service analytics adoption.
- Provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to reporting analysts, project teams, and cross-functional partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Statistics, or a related analytical or healthcare field.
- 5 years of progressive experience within enterprise-scale data, analytics, and reporting strategy initiatives.
- Proven experience defining and scaling enterprise reporting and data governance strategies, including KPI standardization, data quality frameworks, and regulatory/contractual reporting alignment.
- 5+ years of experience in healthcare or insurance ecosystems, including payer, provider, PBM, or analytics/data platforms.
- Deep understanding of healthcare industry data models and business drivers.
- Advanced technical proficiency in SQL Server, including complex query design.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
- Experience leveraging healthcare analytics platforms such as Cedar Gate, Truven, or Cotiviti.
- Demonstrated leadership of complex, cross-functional analytics initiatives.
- Proven ability to deliver measurable business impact through analytics.
- Deep expertise in data governance, data quality frameworks, and regulatory/contractual reporting requirements in healthcare or insurance.
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and partnership-building across internal and external functions and leadership levels.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with clients, brokers, prospects, and senior leadership.
- Highly organized, proactive, adaptable, self-directed, and detail-oriented.
- Ability to navigate ambiguity, prioritize competing demands, and drive results in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments.
- Willingness to travel up to 10% as needed.
- Advanced degree, such as a Master’s in Business Administration, preferred.
- Deep understanding of healthcare, benefits, insurance, and managed care delivery systems preferred.
