Job Description
Tech Lead at Amplemarket building AI-powered sales platform. Leading projects and teams while maintaining technical excellence.
Responsibilities:
- Work directly with the co-founders on priorities, execution, and technical direction
- Act as the glue between engineering and product, ensuring alignment across teams and parallel projects
- Lead greenfield projects from the ground up, building new products powered by LLMs and AI technologies
- Provide technical mentorship and leadership to engineers on the team
- Plan and run engineering sprints to support predictable, high-quality delivery
- Stay hands-on when needed — coding, reviewing, and debugging complex issues
- Recruit and build a strong engineering team, owning the hiring process end to end
- Support engineers’ growth through feedback, mentorship, and stretch opportunities
- Contribute to company-wide engineering and process initiatives
Requirements:
- Experienced Tech Lead looking to grow into an Engineering Manager role
- Strong technical foundation
- Experience with Large Language Models and modern AI technologies
- Comfortable staying close to the codebase and stepping in hands-on when needed
- Technical guidance, debugging complex issues, maintaining high bar for quality and efficiency
- Experience in planning and running engineering sprints
- Experience in recruiting and building an engineering team
