Job Description
Tech Lead architecting scalable cloud systems for an outsourcing and MSP consulting partner. Launching client projects, auditing infrastructure, and mentoring developers.
Responsibilities:
- Design robust system architectures for upcoming client projects, ensuring scalability, security, and performance
- Launch projects from scratch, making foundational decisions on technology stacks, project structures, and deployment pipelines
- Translate ambiguous client business requirements into concrete, production-ready technical roadmaps
- Analyze and understand existing codebases and legacy infrastructure
- Evaluate cloud infrastructure setups to identify bottlenecks, security risks, and optimization opportunities
- Bridge software development and infrastructure management
- Embed initially with the internal MSP team to understand infrastructure, tooling, and operational workflows
- Act as a technical consultant for clients and join discovery calls to architect solutions for their needs
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to developers as client projects scale
Requirements:
- Proficiency in Python, C#, or Java, with willingness to work across these ecosystems as client needs dictate
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles
- Proven track record designing distributed systems, APIs, and database schemas
- Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Proactive and organized approach to project management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
- Detail-oriented mindset focused on accuracy and quality
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
- Ability to provide a 1.5–2 minute voice note in English for screening
- Own computer with internet access to perform the role's duties
- Comfortable using Hubstaff time tracking software
- Eligibility for U.S. remote opportunities, including U.S. citizenship or a U.S. work permit confirmation
