Job Description
Registered Dietitian providing telehealth nutrition counseling through Simplex Health’s insurance-funded, root-cause care model. Developing personalized plans for metabolic, digestive, hormonal, and chronic health conditions.
Responsibilities:
- Provide telehealth medical nutrition therapy using a functional and integrative approach
- Implement Simplex Health protocols, tools, and educational materials
- Assess patients’ nutritional health and develop personalized root-cause care plans
- Create and modify individualized nutrition interventions
- Document new and follow-up appointments in the Healthie platform
- Respond to patient communications promptly and professionally
- Collaborate through case discussions, meetings, and shared learning
- Resolve work-related issues and support team outcomes
- Contribute to clinical initiatives and a positive team environment
- Follow company policies, procedures, and clinical standards
- Stay current with nutrition and health research and best practices
- Manage a consistent patient caseload with timely follow-ups and continuity of care
- Maintain at least 12 hours of weekly availability, with potential to grow into a higher-hour or full-time schedule
Requirements:
- Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN)
- At least 2 years of experience in outpatient or clinical care
- Current registration with CDR
- Credentialed or open to being credentialed with insurance companies
- Minimum of 12 hours of weekly availability
- PA license and completion of major insurance credentialing required before start; process may take 3–6 months
- Passion for integrative and functional nutrition
- Experience in clinical or outpatient nutrition counseling
- Must not maintain an active private practice or independent nutrition counseling business
- Evening appointment availability strongly preferred
- CDCES strongly preferred
- IFNA Certified / IFNCP credential a plus; candidates actively enrolled in IFNA training welcome
