Job Description
Tender Engineer analyzing contracts, developing bid strategies, and estimating costs for industrial EPC projects. Coordinating engineering, procurement, construction, suppliers, and subcontractors.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyse tender documentation, specifications, and contractual requirements
- Identify project risks, opportunities, and critical success factors
- Define execution strategies, construction methodologies, and project delivery approaches
- Contribute to innovative and value-engineered solutions that strengthen proposal competitiveness
- Prepare and validate cost estimates covering labor, materials, subcontracting, equipment, logistics, and site operations
- Support pricing strategy and commercial proposal development
- Evaluate and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Participate in technical and commercial clarifications and negotiations
- Work closely with engineering, procurement, construction, and project teams
- Ensure alignment between technical solutions, schedules, budgets, and execution
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
- Proven experience in Tendering, Proposal Engineering, Estimation, or Bid Management within an industrial EPC environment
- Strong technical understanding of industrial piping, mechanical systems, energy, process industries, or industrial construction
- Analytical mindset with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams
