Job Description
Test Analyst III conducting software testing for Millennium, a cybersecurity company supporting DoD and federal civilian missions. Managing test plans, automation, defects, metrics, and reporting remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Manage planning, design, execution, and reporting for software tests
- Supervise junior testers as needed
- Review business and software requirements and provide input on requirement gaps, testability, and methodology
- Review program documentation and products for quality and adherence to design concepts
- Assist with milestone status reports and system concept deliveries and presentations
- Support coordination of Cybersecurity T&E in accordance with DoDI 5000.02 and the DoD Risk Management Framework
- Prepare and review test plans
- Prepare test cases and test scripts, analyze test data, and ensure traceability to requirements
- Work with the software development group throughout the development process
- Support the software configuration management process and understand software components and interface requirements
- Perform manual and automated software testing from unit testing through integration testing and user acceptance testing
- Report defects and track defect status throughout the defect management process
- Analyze test results and track software testing metrics
- Support the test lead with creation of test reports
- Train, mentor, and supervise junior software engineers
- Assist with business development activities, including technical interviews, technical documentation, proposal writing support, and proposal color reviews
Requirements:
- Active Secret clearance required
- BS degree and 8 years of relevant experience, or high school diploma and at least 18 years of relevant experience
- Security+ certification desired
- AWS Cloud Certification desired
- Test Lead certification desired
- Experience with software testing across unit, integration, and user acceptance levels
- Experience with manual and automated testing
- Knowledge of software configuration management and software component interface requirements
- Must be comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
- Must be able to lift up to 10–15 pounds at a time
