Job Description
User Experience Designer for a Fortune 500 financial company focusing on user-centered design. Fully remote role aimed at enhancing Global Payments products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Creates and defines seamless, consistent and desirable experiences for Global Payments products and services through the application of user-centered design principles including qualitative and quantitative user research and analysis and visual and/or interaction design.
- Helps define an in-depth understanding of the context in which our customers interact with our products and services.
- Applies customer needs, motivations, tasks and goals to the design of highly engaging experiences for multiple devices, delivery channels and at times, non-digital touchpoints.
- Acts as a user advocate to project teams and collaborates well with all stakeholders in the development of the experience.
Requirements:
- 4+ years as a user experience designer for web and mobile applications
- Contributed to multiple shipped products
- Strong visual communication skills - ability to create sketches to present your ideas quickly and to iterate on the fly
- Ability to create rough prototypes as well as high fidelity prototype/visual design comps using tools such as Figma or HTML/CSS
- Strong working knowledge of Figma and associated design tools
- Experience with user interface design patterns, interaction design and standard UCD methodologies
- Experience with creating task flow, user journey and customer journey
- Ability to run user test and to analyse data from user research
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with a creative mind
- Understanding of common software project management and development practices in an agile environment
- Proactive, dynamic and open to feedback
- Enjoy working as a team member as well as independently
- Knowledge of the payment industry is a plus
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS and Javascript is a plus
