Job Description
Video editor turning creator footage into finished edits while evaluating AI editing capabilities. Supporting Mercor’s work with leading AI labs and enterprises.
Responsibilities:
- Submit footage and a detailed brief for editing
- Receive a completed video edit built to the provided brief
- Provide intended platform, target length, tone, pacing, music preferences, captions or subtitles, brand guidelines, required and excluded moments, reference videos, and deadline
- Video footage is evaluated for AI model capabilities on real-world editing tasks
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
Requirements:
- Raw footage and all usable clips, b-roll, separate audio, logos, graphics, and other desired assets
- A detailed editing brief
- Confirm ownership or rights to use submitted footage
- Confirm that clearly identifiable people in the footage have agreed to appear
- No prior editing experience needed
- Independent contractor engagement
- Must not be an H-1B or STEM OPT candidate at this time
