Job Description

Working student supporting procurement data, sourcing, contracts, and reporting at identity and security technology company Giesecke+Devrient. Helping digitize procurement processes using Ivalua and SAP MM.

Responsibilities:

  • Support supplier and material master data maintenance in Ivalua and SAP MM
  • Assist with purchase order follow-ups, commercial reporting, and archive management
  • Support sourcing activities, including Requests For Quotations, offer comparisons, and supplier communication
  • Contribute to contract management, including upload, storage, and signature processes in Ivalua
  • Help prepare procurement reports, dashboards, and KPI overviews
  • Support compliance and sustainability topics and supplier qualification
  • Contribute to the further digitization and improvement of procurement processes

Requirements:

  • Enrolled Master’s student in procurement, industrial engineering, business administration, international management, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Available for 6 to 12 months and enrolled for at least 12 more months
  • 1–2 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or project management is an advantage
  • Strong skills in MS Office, especially Word, advanced Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Good working knowledge of SAP and MS SharePoint
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Good written and spoken German (optional)
  • Organized, reliable, proactive, eager to learn, and a good team player
