We trace our beginnings back to the W.F.
Blynn Company that was established in Colorado in 1937 representing housewares and lighting.
As the lighting component continued to grow over the ensuing years with the addition of brands, such as Halo Lighting in 1962.
It became apparent the need to start creating separate channels for the business.
This occurred in 1972 with the launch of Illumination Systems as a DBA of the Blynn Company.
In 1981, Illumination Systems was set up as an independent corporation ending the 44 year association with the Blynn Company.
