Job Description

401(k) Analyst responsible for compliance and payroll processing for retirement plans at Natera. Ensuring regulatory adherence and guiding employees through enrollment and contributions.

Responsibilities:

  • Review contributions, loan payments, employee distributions, and salary deferral changes accurately.
  • Manage 401(k) contributions to include all contributions are set up and employee changes, along with reconciling contributions for payroll.
  • Oversee all 401(k) vesting percentages to ensure accuracy, including reviewing distribution requests.
  • Review and research all errors in Fidelity bi-weekly reports and update the systems accordingly.
  • Ensure plan compliance with IRS and DOL regulations. Perform annual nondiscrimination testing and assist with annual audit.
  • Conducting bi-weekly payroll file audits to confirm accuracy and manage electronic 401(k) files.
  • Guide employees on eligibility and enrollment.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years administering 401(k) or defined contribution plans.
  • Strong knowledge of IRS, DOL, and ERISA regulations.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Finance or equivalent experience.
  • Self-starter with extreme detail orientation.
  • Team player with a can-do attitude who is flexible and comfortable with changing priorities/deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Intermediate Excel skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop solid relationships with HR colleagues and vendors.
  • Comfortable handling confidential and highly sensitive data.
