Job Description
Adjunct Faculty teaching online in Adolescent Literacy at Grand Canyon University. Developing student skills through innovative teaching methodologies and educational programs.
Responsibilities:
- Provide program instruction in an online format
- Incorporate innovative teaching methodologies
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements and deadlines
- Respond to students' questions and emails within the established timeframes
- Provide a positive example to students by supporting the University’s values
Requirements:
- Preferred: Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction or related field
- Minimum: Masters in Secondary Education or related field AND 2 areas of exceptional expertise
- Must have a valid state teacher certification in secondary education
- Minimum of five years of experience as a classroom teacher or related position
- At least eighteen graduate level credit hours related to children/adolescent literature or equivalent content.
