Job Description
Online adjunct faculty teaching New Testament Foundations at Grand Canyon University’s College of Theology. Leading discussions, grading coursework, and supporting students’ academic and spiritual growth.
Responsibilities:
- Equip students with the required skill set
- Facilitate classroom discussions
- Assess student performance
- Prepare students to be successful leaders in their chosen profession
- Facilitate weekly main discussion forums in the online classroom
- Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
- Respond to students’ questions and emails within established timeframes
- Support the University’s Doctrinal Statement, Ethical Position Statement, and Mission of Grand Canyon University
Requirements:
- Doctorate from an accredited college or university
- 18 graduate credits in New Testament and hermeneutics and Greek
- 2 or more years professional experience in the pastorate or teaching at the postsecondary level
