Job Description
Adjunct instructor teaching an 8-week Introduction to Statistics course at Hastings College. Using CANVAS for online course delivery and assessment.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Statistics courses for an 8-week block starting March 2027
- Utilize CANVAS to facilitate delivery and assessment of course material
- Teach MATH 210 - Introduction to Statistics (4 credits)
- Deliver instruction during the Spring Semester Block 2, March 10th–May 5th
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Mathematics or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in Mathematics
- Candidates with a portfolio of relevant teaching experience will also be considered
- Proficiency with CANVAS online learning software
- Complete the online application
- Submit a cover letter
- Submit a teaching philosophy statement
- Submit a curriculum vitae (CV) including all courses taught, delivery methods used, and indicated technology skills
- Submit unofficial undergraduate and graduate transcripts
- Must reside in Nebraska or Colorado
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship now or in the future
