Job Description
Adjunct dissertation chair guiding behavioral sciences candidates through research at Liberty University. Overseeing proposals, chapters, methodology, feedback, and final defenses.
Responsibilities:
- Guide candidates through the dissertation research process
- Serve as the primary advisor throughout the dissertation process
- Provide expert guidance and ensure alignment with academic standards
- Oversee candidate progress from proposal development to final defense
- Review completed chapters and offer constructive feedback
- Help candidates refine their research
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure methodology and subject matter meet academic rigor
Requirements:
- Personal commitment to the goals and values of Liberty University
- Active commitment to, and experience of, personal spiritual formation within a biblically informed Christian worldview
- Expert guidance of dissertation research processes
- Ability to ensure research aligns with academic standards
- Ability to oversee candidate progress from proposal development to final defense
- Ability to review completed chapters and provide constructive feedback
- Ability to collaborate with relevant stakeholders on methodology and subject matter rigor
