Job Description
Adjunct Faculty in Operations Management teaching Foundations of Project Management and other courses at UMGC. Engaging adult learners through remote education and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Teach remotely in the Operations program at UMGC.
- Deliver courses on Foundations of Project Management, Operations Management, Sustainability Management, Quality in the Value Chain, and Supply Chain.
- Engage students through frequent interaction and provide feedback on their work.
- Guide students in collaboration and application of their learning in problem- and project-based learning.
- Provide feedback to the program chair on possible curricular improvements.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Professional experience in Operations Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
- Experience teaching adult learners online and in higher education is strongly preferred.
- Terminal degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning is preferred.
