Job Description

AI Systems Engineer at Wrapbook building and deploying AI-driven tools to streamline operations. Collaborating across departments using no-code/low-code platforms and traditional programming.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop AI-Driven Internal Tools: Design, build, and maintain internal applications and bots that automate workflows for our operations teams.
  • Workflow Automation: Identify repetitive or time-consuming operational processes and implement automation using no-code/low-code tools and custom scripts.
  • Systems Integration: Connect and integrate various internal systems and APIs. Ensure data flows seamlessly between platforms.
  • Testing & Deployment: Rigorously test automation workflows and AI tool implementations for accuracy, reliability, and security.
  • Documentation & Training: Document the internal tools and workflows you build, including architecture, use cases, and maintenance guides.
  • Operational Excellence: Monitor the performance and impact of deployed automations.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with stakeholders in various departments to understand pain points and requirements.

Requirements:

  • 3–5 years of experience in software engineering or a related field, with a focus on building automations or internal tools.
  • Proficiency in writing scripts or services in Python and/or JavaScript to glue together APIs and automate tasks.
  • Hands-on experience with automation platforms such as Zapier, Make, or n8n.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and experience utilizing AI APIs or SDKs.
  • Comfortable working with RESTful APIs and webhooks to connect disparate systems.
  • Strong ability to translate business process challenges into technical solutions.
  • Experience in testing automation workflows and ensuring data integrity across systems.
  • Excellent communication skills to work with non-technical stakeholders.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience in automation/AI engineering.
