Job Description
Analytics Manager driving category insights for Palm Bay International’s imported wines and spirits portfolio. Partnering with strategic accounts, sales, distributors, and retailers to grow volume and profit.
Responsibilities:
- Own end-to-end category insights support for key Strategic Account chains
- Develop and execute insight-led strategies across the portfolio to deliver sales volume and profit objectives
- Lead analytical and strategic engagement with senior sales executives, sales leads, distributor partners, and applicable retail buyers
- Develop and deliver insights, analyses, and category reviews
- Assess performance, identify opportunities, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
- Leverage syndicated, retailer loyalty, and internal data to generate shopper and business insights
- Design, maintain, and optimize reporting and analytics
- Measure and evaluate the impact of key initiatives and refine strategies
- Partner with sales leadership to identify and activate growth opportunities across innovation, assortment, shelving, pricing, and promotion
- Support category reviews, new item and program meetings, business planning, and ad hoc analyses
- Partner with Sales and the Business Intelligence team, with travel as needed for customer engagement and business priorities
- Build and maintain consultative relationships with key stakeholders
- Collaborate with Sales, BI, and Marketing to deliver integrated solutions
- Identify risks and opportunities and communicate implications and recommended actions
- Serve as a trusted thought partner and bring forward innovative ideas to drive business growth
- Streamline processes, improve ways of working, and enhance team effectiveness
- Develop capabilities and share best practices
- Provide flexible support across additional customers or categories as business needs evolve
Requirements:
- BA/BS degree required
- 5–10 years of relevant business experience in the CPG industry with a supplier, retailer, or distributor
- Beverage alcohol experience preferred
- Advanced computer proficiency in Retailer POS, Syndicated and Panel data, Retail Link, Microsoft Excel, Nielsen and/or Circana
- Proficiency in PowerPoint and other Microsoft Office applications
- Strong analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Strong team orientation
- Creative thinking and ability to communicate and present ideas and solutions
