Job Description
Italian-speaking AML experts monitoring transactions and investigating financial crime for Mercier Consultancy Group, an international recruitment and BPO firm. Safeguarding banking compliance across European operations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth analysis of financial transactions to detect potential money laundering and terrorist financing activities
- Ensure full compliance with international banking regulations and internal AML/KYC policies
- Investigate high-risk alerts and escalate suspicious banking patterns to appropriate internal departments
- Maintain up-to-date documentation for anti-financial crime audits and regulatory reports
- Provide expert guidance on financial compliance matters within the Italian-speaking banking segment
- Collaborate with global teams to enhance automated monitoring systems and risk assessment models
- Perform daily duties with a high degree of precision to maintain the operational security of the bank
Requirements:
- Native or fluent Italian (spoken and written) is mandatory
- Valid EU passport or right to work in the EU is mandatory
- Proven professional experience within the banking or financial services industry, specifically in compliance or AML roles
- Strong analytical mindset with ability to interpret complex financial data and banking regulations
- Excellent proficiency in English
- Degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field is considered a strong asset
