Job Description
Excel professionals applying spreadsheet expertise to help Mercor’s AI-lab and enterprise partners train and enhance frontier AI systems. Fully remote, flexible independent-contractor projects.
Responsibilities:
- Use hands-on, real-world expertise in Excel on macOS
- Work with spreadsheet modelling, formulas, pivot tables, and charting
- Contribute human expertise to projects training and enhancing AI systems
- Collaborate with leading researchers
- Complete projects on an independent schedule
- Perform services without accessing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
Requirements:
- Must already have Excel installed/available on your own Mac running macOS and be able to open it today
- Must be able to capture screenshots with more than 2.5 megapixels
- Must have either a qualifying single high-resolution monitor or a qualifying dual-monitor setup
- Two 1920×1080+ monitors qualify when captured as a single spanning image; a single 1080p screen does not
- Must be able to work with Excel on macOS
- Must be willing to work as an independent contractor
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
