Job Description
Word on macOS professionals applying document-authoring expertise to Mercor projects. Training and enhancing frontier AI systems with leading researchers.
Responsibilities:
- Use Microsoft Word on macOS in real-world professional workflows
- Work on projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
- Apply expertise in long-form document authoring, styles, referencing, and review
- Collaborate with leading researchers
- Complete work on an independent schedule
- Provide services for projects that may be extended, shortened, or concluded early based on needs and performance
Requirements:
- Hands-on, real-world experience with Microsoft Word on macOS
- Must already have Word installed/available on your own Mac running macOS and be able to open it today
- Must provide your own software, hardware, and Word license/access; Mercor does not provide software licenses, virtual machines, or hardware
- Must be able to capture screenshots with more than 2.5 megapixels
- Either one qualifying high-resolution monitor or two side-by-side monitors captured as a single spanning image
- Two 1920×1080+ monitors qualify for the dual-monitor setup; a single 1080p screen does not
- Must be able to work as an independent contractor
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
