Job Description
macOS Sonoma expert using hands-on desktop expertise to support Mercor’s AI training projects. Working remotely with leading researchers on next-generation AI systems.
Responsibilities:
- Use hands-on, real-world expertise in macOS Sonoma 14.5
- Work with the macOS desktop, including Finder, System Settings, window and Space management, and bundled applications
- Complete projects focused on training and enhancing AI systems
- Collaborate with leading researchers
- Work on projects that may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on needs and performance
- Perform work without accessing confidential or proprietary information from any employer, client, or institution
Requirements:
- Must already be running macOS Sonoma 14.5 as your own day-to-day primary desktop operating system
- Must be able to work in macOS Sonoma 14.5 today
- Must provide your own software licenses, virtual machines, and hardware; Mercor does not provide them
- Must be able to capture screenshots with more than 2.5 megapixels
- Either one qualifying high-resolution monitor or two side-by-side monitors of at least 1920×1080 captured as a single spanning image
- MacBook Pro 14-inch or 16-inch built-in displays qualify
- Experience as a Mac power user, Apple-platform administrator, creative professional, or technical professional
- Must be able to work as an independent contractor
- H1-B and STEM OPT candidates are not supported
