Job Description
Senior iOS Developer building scalable native iOS applications for Xebia, a global AI-first digital transformation and engineering partner. Delivering Swift-based products with cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, scalable native iOS applications using Swift and Objective-C
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to deliver user- and business-aligned features
- Write clean, maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and follow industry best practices
- Identify and resolve performance issues
- Optimize application efficiency and ensure a smooth user experience
- Contribute to architectural decisions
- Help improve development processes within the team
- Participate in the recruitment process through CV review, HR call, interviews, client interview, and decision stages
Requirements:
- 4+ years of professional experience in native iOS development
- Strong portfolio of published applications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a recognized university
- Proficiency in Swift
- Solid experience with Objective-C
- Solid understanding of iOS frameworks, multithreading, RESTful APIs, memory management, and adaptive UI implementation using SnapKit/Masonry
- Practical experience using AI-powered assistants such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, or Cursor
- Excellent communication skills in English, written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an agile, cross-functional team environment
- Work from the European Union region
- A work permit is required
- SwiftUI and Combine experience is a plus
- Experience applying GenAI in the SDLC is nice to have
- Familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices is nice to have
