Job Description
Mid-level iOS Developer building Swift applications for Syngenta’s AMP project at CI&T. Developing, testing, and integrating mobile features in a global agile team.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain functionalities in iOS applications using Swift and modern architectures such as MVVM
- Understand the business domain and propose technical solutions that add value to end users
- Identify technical debt and continuous-improvement opportunities, including refactoring and technology evolution
- Write clean, readable, testable code and create unit tests regularly
- Integrate applications with RESTful APIs and consume backend services efficiently
- Manage project dependencies and libraries using Swift Package Manager or CocoaPods
- Participate in code reviews and help investigate and resolve bugs
- Participate in agile ceremonies and technical discussions about new features with the international team
- Collaborate with the Product team and global colleagues on an innovative Syngenta (AMP) project
Requirements:
- Advanced or fluent English for daily spoken and written communication with the global team
- Investigative mindset and curiosity for learning
- Proven experience in native iOS development using Swift
- Proficiency creating interfaces with programmatic layouts, including SnapKit or Auto Layout
- Solid understanding of design patterns and architecture, including MVVM and Delegation
- Knowledge of object-oriented programming
- Practical experience integrating RESTful APIs and handling JSON
- Strong knowledge of unit testing with XCTest
- Familiarity with Git and agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban
- Ability to solve problems autonomously and communicate effectively within a team
- Ability to read and maintain legacy Objective-C code (nice to have)
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines using Fastlane, GitHub Actions, or Bitrise (nice to have)
- Knowledge of local persistence technologies such as CoreData, SwiftData, or Realm, and UI libraries such as Pulley (nice to have)
- Experience with observability, performance monitoring, and error-tracking tools such as Crashlytics or Sentry (nice to have)
