Job Description

Applied AI Engineer building AI systems for global social discovery company, shipping AI capabilities to production and collaborating with cross-functional teams on product functionality.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and ship AI-powered product features using LLMs and generative models
  • Develop and maintain services and APIs around ML models
  • Work with prompt engineering and model behavior tuning
  • Integrate AI models into production systems and user-facing applications
  • Work with multimodal systems (text and image generation)
  • Improve AI quality, safety, and reliability in production
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams
  • Run experiments and iterate quickly based on real user feedback and metrics
  • Optimize performance, latency, and scalability of AI systems

Requirements:

  • Strong Python development skills
  • Experience working with LLMs or generative AI systems in production
  • Experience building APIs, services, or infrastructure around ML models
  • Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals
  • Experience integrating AI into real products, not just experiments
  • Familiarity with fine-tuning approaches (LoRA / SFT) is a plus
  • Experience with multimodal or diffusion models is a plus
  • Ability to take end-to-end ownership of solutions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and product teams
