Job Description
Applied AI Engineer building AI systems for global social discovery company, shipping AI capabilities to production and collaborating with cross-functional teams on product functionality.
Responsibilities:
- Build and ship AI-powered product features using LLMs and generative models
- Develop and maintain services and APIs around ML models
- Work with prompt engineering and model behavior tuning
- Integrate AI models into production systems and user-facing applications
- Work with multimodal systems (text and image generation)
- Improve AI quality, safety, and reliability in production
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and design teams
- Run experiments and iterate quickly based on real user feedback and metrics
- Optimize performance, latency, and scalability of AI systems
Requirements:
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience working with LLMs or generative AI systems in production
- Experience building APIs, services, or infrastructure around ML models
- Solid understanding of machine learning fundamentals
- Experience integrating AI into real products, not just experiments
- Familiarity with fine-tuning approaches (LoRA / SFT) is a plus
- Experience with multimodal or diffusion models is a plus
- Ability to take end-to-end ownership of solutions
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to communicate effectively with both engineers and product teams
