Job Description
Architect role at Red Hat leading OpenShift Virtualization implementations and large-scale VM migrations. Collaborating with clients to build automated solutions while providing technical guidance to consultants.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct architectural discovery sessions and Design-and-Build workshops
- Lead the implementation of OpenShift Virtualization
- Plan and execute large-scale VM migrations using MTV
- Build and maintain automated deployment pipelines
- Act as a technical liaison between the customer and Red Hat Product Engineering
- Lead a team of consultants on-site providing technical oversight
Requirements:
- Expert-level understanding of KVM and QEMU
- Significant experience with VMware vSphere (ESXi/vCenter)
- Hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift or Kubernetes
- Advanced proficiency with Ansible and Terraform
- Deep understanding of software-defined networking (SDN)
- Proven ability to manage stakeholder expectations
- Expert knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
