Job Description

Medical strategy leader shaping Hematology Medical Affairs for BeOne, a global oncology company developing affordable cancer treatments in Germany. Driving evidence generation, partnerships and launch readiness.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the Therapeutic Area Lead in identifying and advancing strategic initiatives for Hematology Medical Affairs in Germany
  • Identify opportunities for innovative approaches, processes, cross-functional collaboration, industry collaborations and partnerships
  • Translate global medical strategy into a Germany-specific strategic roadmap
  • Shape the strategic approach to evidence generation and scientific partnerships across the hematology portfolio
  • Develop cross-portfolio initiatives that maximize scientific impact and create synergies across assets and lifecycle stages
  • Drive collaboration with Clinical Operations to improve site identification, feasibility, recruitment strategies and study performance
  • Build strategic partnerships with German cooperative study groups and external scientific stakeholders
  • Consolidate medical, field and market insights into actionable affiliate and regional strategy recommendations
  • Partner with Medical Advisors, the Field Medical Lead and cross-functional leaders while complementing asset execution without operational ownership
  • Act as a strategic thought partner to the Therapeutic Area Lead
  • Travel extensively, estimated at 30–40% of the time, and participate in congresses and medical meetings

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Strong Medical Affairs background in Hematology
  • Demonstrated success in strategic leadership, matrix collaboration and influencing cross-functional teams without direct authority
  • In-depth understanding of the therapeutic area disease landscape, treatment pathways, clinical research environment and national study group structures
  • Ability to translate global medical strategy into a locally relevant roadmap and actionable recommendations
  • Ability to identify and address unmet medical, educational and research needs
  • Advanced analytical capabilities for collecting, analyzing and interpreting scientific data and insights
  • Experience in evidence planning, scientific partnerships, clinical research collaboration and cross-functional medical innovation
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry ethical and compliance standards and the local healthcare system
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage complexity, ambiguity and competing priorities
  • High emotional intelligence and appreciation of diversity and multiculturalism
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic CRM systems
  • Fluency in verbal and written English and German
  • Willingness to travel extensively (estimated 30–40% of time)
  • Valid driving license required

Benefits:

  • Salary range of 128,300.00 EUR - 160,400.00 EUR per year
