Job Description
Capital One Learning Facilitator delivering Retail and Business Banking training remotely. Preparing courses, facilitating learning, assessing readiness, and managing training logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver the full suite of Retail and Line of Business Learning through virtual and in-person learning methods
- Prepare, facilitate, and manage training logistics
- Facilitate Branch, Cafe, and Business Banking Back Office policy and procedure learning
- Assess Associates’ readiness, understanding, and demonstration of foundational skills
- Apply adult learning principles and techniques to support technical and soft-skill behaviors
- Provide additional learning experiences as necessary to support clients and Associates
- Observe training course trends and learner surveys and identify opportunities to enhance the learning experience
- Deliver high-quality learning experiences supporting Associate performance skills and business objectives
- Demonstrate adult learning theory and apply its principles in the classroom
- Explain training context and alignment with company, department, and initiative goals
- Demonstrate operational, service, and compliance activities using policies and procedures
- Engage learners through group-dynamics awareness and strong communication
- Establish an inclusive, comfortable learning environment
- Identify issues, escalate concerns, and bring forward improvement observations
- Support projects through completion with minimal direct supervision
- Evaluate class success against client needs, learning objectives, and program objectives
- Manage rosters, class times, participant communications, learner surveys, and Learning Management System maintenance
- Provide feedback to content developers on training materials and program effectiveness
- Share Learning team best practices and participate in team events
- Work with clients and subject matter experts within established structures and guidelines
Requirements:
- High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification
- At least 1 year of experience working in retail banking or a corporate training role
- Secure home office environment free from background noise and distractions
- Reliable private internet connection not supplied via cellular data or hotspot
- Password-protected private network with ownership or line of sight to every device
- Cable or fiber internet service provider
- Minimum 100 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload speed
- Must be based in the continental United States; applicants living in California, Hawaii, or U.S. territories are not eligible
- Work-from-home U.S.-based associates may not work internationally or outside the continental United States
- Advanced Google Suite skills preferred
- 2+ years of experience in training facilitation preferred
- 1+ years of experience in project management preferred
