Job Description
Associate Security Architect managing critical network events for Akamai's clients. Identifying real-time cyber-attacks and strategizing mitigation while minimizing impact to end users.
Responsibilities:
- Devising and engaging mitigation strategies to prevent real time attacks, using Akamai products & platform
- Performing advanced analysis to identify attacks and threats to customer's digital properties and/or their business network
- Communicating with customers regarding challenges and providing updates and results on your mitigation and analysis
- Innovating around tooling development & product enhancement.
Requirements:
- Need to have 1-3 years relevant industry experience on Akamai Platform OR networking OR Web application Security
- Demonstrate knowledge of how the internet works, including, DNS. HTTP, Suite of IP Protocols
- Show knowledge of common OWASP top 10 and how they relate to internet services compromise or attacks
- Need to demonstrate excellent verbal & written communication skills and excellent collaboration & team work.
