Job Description
Associate Software Engineer at Cotiviti, collaborating on data transformation and analytics systems. Delivering business critical projects in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate effectively with both onshore and offshore development team members, business owners, project management, and other internal stakeholders
- Demonstrate knowledge of relational databases, SQL and Java
- Rapidly learn new technologies including data engineering and AI systems
- Work within the team developing and supporting data transformation and analytics systems with patent pending technology and applications to support our in-house audit partners
- Design and implement new solutions
- Maintain existing solutions
- Learn new technologies and apply them to the problem space
- Peer review software changes by other developers
- Provide technical input to the team on development
- Document the specifications, design, features, and operation of applications prior to production rollout
- Work collaboratively with business partners to define and ensure the completeness and accuracy of system/technical requirements
- Complete all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan
- Complete all special projects and other duties as assigned
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or related field or equivalent work experience
- Optimization and tuning of SQL queries, stored procedures, and triggers
- 0-1 year experience with languages: Java or Python
- 0–1 year experience with relational databases
- 0-1 year experience with web services using Java and Spring Boot
- Basic Knowledge and application of SAFe agile practices, preferred.
