Job Description
Bilingual Registered Dietitian Nutritionist providing nutritional support and counseling to patients. Contributing to patient-centered care and collaborating with diverse team members for health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nutritional support and counseling to our patients with diverse health and wellness needs
- Coaching through our telehealth format through phone calls and secure messaging with members
- Document and communicate nutritional care plans in accordance with established standards of practice
- Collaborate with team members to provide patient-centered care
- Participate in monthly Case Reviews with fellow RD’s to contribute the success of the team
- Get licensed and credentialed to meet the requirements of our clients
Requirements:
- 3 to 10+ years of experience as a Board Certified Dietitian
- Active RDN status in accordance with CDR and state licensure criteria
- Language proficiency in English and Spanish
- Comfortable working with members presenting with multiple clinical conditions (CKD, Diabetes, Hypertension, Anemia, NAFLD, etc)
- Strong clinical and counseling skills using an evidence based approach
- Extensive knowledge and experience in nutrition counseling approaches and modalities (i.e. motivational interviewing), intuitive eating, and MNT
- Self-starter and can manage in a fast-paced tech environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proactive problem-solving skills
- Attention to accuracy and detail
- Constantly up to date with current nutrition research and industry developments.
- Previous technology work experience not required; however, must be comfortable using and applying technology to nutrition practice and objectives.
