Job Description
Psychiatric Nurse providing telemedicine care to mental health patients across the United States. Work autonomously while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support recovery goals.
Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to mental health patients in a telemedicine environment
- Navigate the complex healthcare system to ensure the best care for the patient
- Work autonomously while supported by an interdisciplinary team of providers
- Assist clients in need with brief interventions
- Provide bridge services to decrease the gap in mental health support
Requirements:
- Partner with individuals to achieve their recovery goals
- Provide health promotion and maintenance
- Conduct intake screening, evaluation, and triage
- Provide Case management
- Teach self-care activities
- Administer and monitor psychobiological treatment regimens
- Practice crisis intervention and stabilization
- Engage in psychiatric rehabilitation and intervention
- Educate patients, families, and communities
- Active unrestricted compact nursing license is required - RN or LPN
