Job Description
BMS Engineer responsible for field installations and maintenance of BMS systems at Honeywell. Providing project support and managing customer relationships in the South West.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out installations, quoted works, project support, planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
- Out of hours support to customers on their BMS
- Operating, maintaining and interrogating Honeywell BMS Controllers & Field Control Systems
- Carry out commissioning of small automation and controls projects
- Modify and interrogate BMS Software programs, strategies, and systems
- Continually ensure all Energy Saving measures for all Building Services are monitored and modified accordingly
- Develop and maintain excellent customer relations with our client base at varying sites
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with BMS systems and controls with knowledge of operating and maintaining HVAC systems
- Experience in protocols such as BACnet, M-Bus and Modbus
- A good awareness of Health and Safety and related risk assessments
- Ability to trouble shoot and fault find quickly to resolve reactive works quickly and effectively
- Great communications skills both written and verbal to be able to compile and complete reports and build strong customer relationships.
