Job Description
Business Analyst at Chartis Interactive summarizing stakeholder needs into requirements. Engaging with clients and teams to align business goals with product specifications within a contract role.
Responsibilities:
- Able to effectively solicit requirements from multiple, senior client stakeholders
- Comfortable with clarifying requirements to ensure accuracy and identifying and resolving logical issues within gathered requirements
- Able to distill requirements into a Business Requirements Document and own it
- Experienced with managing documentation change and version control
- Able to suggest solutions to business needs and challenges
- Comfortable presenting to senior stakeholders
- Able to facilitate walkthroughs to brief the Functional, Design, and Development teams to ensure an accurate understanding of the Business Requirements
- Able to prepare and/or aid the preparation of test cases in line with business and/or functional requirements
- Extensive experience in designing test cases/scripts from design and requirements documents
- Proactively vets designs against client requirements to communicate gaps or issues before development begins
- Able to define both functional and non-functional requirements
- Able to support vetting implemented functionality during development and QA against requirements to ensure all areas are covered based on client needs
- Demonstrates excellent analytic and interpersonal communication skills
- Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication in a clear and concise manner
- Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to work alone and within a team in a fast-changing environment with changing priorities and time constraints
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Quick learner with a go-getter attitude and team player mindset
Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst or Functional Analyst in client services, digital marketing, or an agency setting
- Excellent organizational, project management, and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills; experience managing multiple and diverse stakeholders
- Experience in top-tier client services consulting is preferred
- Product owner experience or backlog management is preferred
- Familiarity with platforms such as WordPress, Salesforce, and React is preferred
- Hands-on experience with JIRA and Confluence is preferred
- Relevant certifications (CMAP, CSPO, PMI-PBA, etc.) are preferred
