Job Description
Remote contract Business Analyst improving business processes, data governance, and requirements for Lingarogroup. Leading UAT, stakeholder workshops, and analytics delivery across business domains.
Responsibilities:
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives to meet business needs
- Facilitate requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews to gather, analyze, and define business requirements and current-state processes
- Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, and testable acceptance criteria
- Govern requirements to keep them current, aligned, and consistent at all levels
- Map business processes, data flows, and source-to-target or source-to-report relationships
- Define KPI measures, formulas, dimensions, filters, exception rules, and data-quality rules
- Document and maintain data catalogs, business glossaries, and metadata
- Advise clients and stakeholders on optimal solutions meeting business requirements
- Lead UAT planning, test-case preparation, defect triage, and business sign-off
- Coordinate user participation in testing, deployment, and implementation activities
Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Prior experience as an IT Business Analyst
- Problem-solving, prioritization, and organizational skills
- Good interpersonal and verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes
- Ability to work in a dynamic, changing environment and under time pressure
- Experience with project management methodologies and software development processes
- Proficiency in data analysis tools
- SAP tables and process knowledge in Sales, Finance, RD&E, or Sustainability domains is nice to have
- Databricks SQL or another cloud data platform is nice to have
- dbt documentation and tests is nice to have
- Data lineage or catalog tools such as Unity Catalog is nice to have
- Basic API/file-interface understanding is nice to have
- GitHub Copilot, Claude skills, or equivalent reusable AI instructions/workflows are preferred
- Domain knowledge in Sales, Insights & Innovation, Supply Chain, Finance, or HQ - RD&E and Sustainability; relevant SAP modules and PLM knowledge preferred
