Job Description
Business Applications Specialist integrating NetSuite, Salesforce and Snowflake for Doctors of BC. Optimizing enterprise applications, automation and data flows for physician services.
Responsibilities:
- Support the design, configuration, implementation and ongoing optimization of enterprise business applications, with a strong focus on Oracle NetSuite and related Finance solutions
- Design and support integrations across NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake and other enterprise applications
- Analyze business processes and requirements and translate them into scalable solutions and integration designs
- Develop and maintain integration specifications, data mappings, interface documentation, process flows and current/future-state solution diagrams
- Evaluate whether requirements should be addressed through configuration, integration, automation or application development, while minimizing unnecessary customization
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve interoperability between systems
- Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues and perform root-cause analysis across systems, interfaces and data flows
- Support integration controls including error handling, monitoring, logging, reconciliation and operational support procedures
- Collaborate with business teams, technical teams, external implementation partners and vendors to review solutions and clarify requirements
- Support data migration, validation, testing, deployment and post-implementation stabilization
- Develop queries, scripts and technical utilities for analysis, troubleshooting, data validation and automation
- Participate throughout the software development lifecycle from discovery through operational transition
- Maintain technical documentation and contribute to knowledge transfer
- Investigate emerging enterprise application capabilities and identify improvement opportunities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Information Systems or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- Approximately 5+ years of experience working with enterprise business applications, systems integration, solution design or similar technology functions
- Strong experience with ERP platforms, preferably Oracle NetSuite
- Experience supporting or integrating ERP, CRM, Finance, data or other enterprise SaaS platforms
- Understanding of enterprise integration concepts, including REST/SOAP APIs, authentication, data mapping and transformation, error handling, and integration patterns
- Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications and solution designs
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting capabilities
- Experience with SQL and relational data is an asset
- Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM or another enterprise CRM platform is an asset
- Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data platform is an asset
- Experience with NetSuite technologies such as SuiteTalk, SuiteFlow and SuiteScript is an asset
- Experience with iPaaS or middleware technologies is an asset
- Understanding of Finance processes such as accounts payable, expense management, general ledger, banking and financial integrations is an asset
- Experience working with external implementation partners and vendors
- Understanding of the SDLC, change management, and IT service management practices
- Excellent documentation, facilitation and communication skills
- Demonstrated curiosity and ability to quickly learn unfamiliar technologies, business processes and system relationships
