Job Description
Cargo Claims Specialist processing cargo claims for Trinity Logistics’ freight operations. Providing solutions and customer-carrier claims expertise while working remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Process cargo claims
- Provide solutions throughout the claims process
- Serve as the in-house claims expert for Trinity’s customers and carriers
- Protect Trinity’s assets and best interests
- Independently manage assigned claims while collaborating with a reliable team
- Work 0800–1700 EST
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in-house claims processing experience
- Two years claims and operational logistics experience highly preferred
- Positive and friendly attitude; demonstrated ability to gain cooperation across departments and team members
- Attention to detail
- Strong communication skills for professional phone and email interactions
- Proven planning and organizational abilities
- Goal-oriented and willing to seek knowledge and improve skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel and PowerPoint
