Job Description
Inside Claims Representative II adjusting moderately complex auto and property claims for W Insurance Company. Investigating liability, evaluating losses, negotiating settlements, and delivering customer service remotely.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Interpret policy wordings, determine policy coverage, and ensure appropriate reserving
- Investigate losses to determine liability
- Evaluate information from appraisers, third-party adjusters, contractors, and repair facilities to quantify losses
- Negotiate with insureds, claimants, lawyers, and insurers
- Coordinate services with vendors and service providers
- Adjust claims from inception to completion proactively
- Maintain accurate records according to company standards and policies within the claims system
- Remain up to date with legislative changes and insurance industry trends
- Deliver fair and equitable adjustment of moderately complex auto and/or property claims through telephone and written correspondence
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years insurance adjusting experience
- Working toward Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation
- Effective customer service skills including empathy and concern for our customers
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong investigative and analytical skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize work in a fast paced, changing environment
- Detail oriented with a critical degree of accuracy regarding data entry
- Strong negotiation skills
- College/University degree is preferred
- Ability to work remotely from a state where W Insurance Company currently operates in the U.S. or a state where the company has the ability to run payroll
- Must comply with applicable work authorization and E-Verify requirements
