Job Description
Category Manager at Lesaffre overseeing product performance in Animal Nutrition & Health. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive profitability and support sales development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct market research to identify trends, competitors, technologies and customer needs, and recommend portfolio value-creation initiatives for sustainable, profitable growth.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize product value propositions.
- Responsible for deploying portfolio positioning.
- Develop and implement action plans for product pre-launch and post-launch phases.
- Monitor key performance indicators to evaluate product success in the market and recommend actions to optimize sales.
- Support sales teams by maintaining up-to-date marketing materials and toolkits tailored to our customers.
- Develop and deliver internal and external marketing training programs for sales teams and customers.
- Manage all aspects of the marketing mix.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or an engineering/technical degree in the agricultural sector (or equivalent).
- Minimum 10 years’ successful experience in product management within the animal nutrition and health industry.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of another language is a plus (French advantageous).
- Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate and operate within a matrixed, multicultural environment.
- Open-minded team player with strong communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating product vision and strategy.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (or equivalent).
