Job Description
New Business Client Director selling Centrilogic’s Cloud/IT solutions to U.S. and Canadian enterprises. Self-sourcing pipeline, engaging executives, and closing complex services deals.
Responsibilities:
- Generate net new sales revenue through a consultative and solutions-oriented approach
- Forecast, track, and modify the sales funnel using existing Sales tools
- Manage 3–5 key clients won or transitioned into the candidate’s name and drive revenue growth
- Oversee the overall client relationship strategy for the assigned client base while prioritizing net-new logo acquisition
- Gain referrals through an extensive personal network
- Participate in developing, presenting, and selling value propositions
- Conduct onsite customer presentations with C-level executives to negotiate and close strategic, complex deals
- Self-source most of the pipeline through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, industry networking, and events
- Build and execute written territory and named-account plans
- Create demand in accounts where none currently exists
- Maintain engagement throughout the sales cycle and bring in resources from Sales, Product, Client Success, and Practice-based teams
- Collaborate with CIOs, CFOs, IT Directors, ERP Management Teams, and other IT professionals on IT optimization and cost control/reduction plans
- Meet and exceed customer expectations through managed services relationships, IT project work, and staff augmentation
- Understand prospects’ businesses and map Centrilogic’s platform to client initiatives
- Sell solutions including ERP/cloud strategies, database administration, data and analytics, cloud architecture, application development, DevOps, security governance, managed security services, private cloud, and networking
Requirements:
- 8+ years of quota-carrying B2B technology sales experience
- Minimum 3–5 years in net-new business or “hunting” capacity
- Experience selling for an MSP, systems integrator, cloud services provider, cybersecurity provider/MSSP, ERP partner, managed infrastructure provider, or digital transformation firm
- Demonstrated success selling multi-year, services-attached engagements
- Documented track record of self-sourced pipeline, with a target of 60%+ independently generated through outbound prospecting and personal networks
- Ability to provide quantifiable sales metrics, including new-logo count, quota attainment, self-sourced pipeline value, average deal size, sales-cycle length, and net-new quota percentage
- Experience carrying a $2M–$5M+ new-business quota strongly preferred
- Experience selling to CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Directors, ERP leadership, finance/procurement, operations, and business transformation stakeholders
- Exposure to complex professional services sales involving AI, data, or application modernization
- Ability to travel to customer sites across the United States and Canada as required
- Highly developed consultative selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills
- Effective communication and collaboration with C-level executives, finance/procurement, legal, and line-of-business representatives
- Excellent writing and presentation skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Business acumen and a collaborative, transparent approach
- Ability to handle stress and multiple critical priorities
- Strong work ethic and hands-on “can do” attitude
- Ability to leverage technical resources, lead generation, and marketing teams
- Desire for continuous learning and development
- Salesforce knowledge and skills
- Resilience through long, multi-threaded sales cycles
- Ability to compete against larger providers through responsiveness, technical depth, customer intimacy, flexibility, and outcome-based delivery
- Knowledge of outsourced IT, managed hosting, and cloud-based services preferred
- Advanced MS Office and PowerPoint skills preferred
- Established in-market network of C-level and IT leadership relationships preferred
