Job Description

Analyst role at CVS Caremark providing financial consultation and pricing support. Involves data-driven analysis and collaboration with clients and sales teams to inform healthcare strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide financial consultation and pricing support to help CVS Caremark win and retain business.
  • Work directly with the client and the sales team to provide insight into a client’s pharmaceutical data.
  • Analyze client’s business problems and formulate data-driven solutions.
  • Present findings and recommendations to the client or Sr. Leadership.
  • Develop and/or maintain expert knowledge of the healthcare marketplace and CVS Caremark programs.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of overall experience
  • 1 year of experience in analytics
  • 1 year of experience in a field such as: finance, mathematics, operational analysis, statistics, epidemiology, sales and marketing research, accounting, economics or other data-driven field.
  • Experience may be met through educational and/or internship experience
  • Experience extracting, manipulating, and analyzing Big Data
  • Knowledge of SAS or other statistical and database software, including STATA, SPSS, R, and SQL highly preferred
  • Experience or knowledge of pharmaceuticals or health care industry is preferred
  • Experience in advanced Microsoft Excel-based modeling
  • MBA or Master’s in data analytics, finance, economics, or similar quantitative field
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
