Job Description
Senior Manager providing detailed financial analysis and reporting in RBG-Finance and Planning for retail banking. Driving automation initiatives and supporting decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed RBG MIS (Product Financials) for business and senior management, monitoring key drivers.
- Assist in monthly performance reviews, highlighting risks and opportunities to product managers.
- Identify and monitor key indicators to support decision-making and management action.
- Conduct financial reviews with RBG Business Managers, providing detailed MIS.
- Ensure timely and accurate annual planning process completion.
- Coordinate with Central Accounts and Technology for accurate reporting and troubleshooting.
- Maintain strong control environment for reporting, including GL recons and checks.
- Support ad hoc reporting requests from the business on a case-by-case basis.
- Build robust systems of controls to align financials with reporting processes.
- Interact effectively with retail segment heads and other finance functions.
Requirements:
- CA or MBA in Finance with 8-10 years of experience in MIS-related activities.
- Strong understanding of Retail products and financial implications.
- Excellent analytical skills and knowledge of computer packages, especially Microsoft applications.
- Seamless proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is a must.
- Extroverted personality with excellent interpersonal skills for cross-departmental interactions.
- Working knowledge of Bloomberg system is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on information integrity.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A proactive and results-driven approach to work.
