Job Description
Client Manager managing client relationships, service delivery, and renewals for Luminare Health’s healthcare plans. Retaining and growing a regional book of business.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the overall relationship with clients from implementation through everyday problem resolution and renewal activities
- Work directly with sales executives during finalist presentations
- Present to potential clients when requested
- Support and service 12–20 client groups generating $50,000–$250,000+ in annual net revenue
- Maintain senior management-level contact with client Benefits, Human Resources, and financial staff
- Ensure service delivery of Luminare Health products and services to maintain client satisfaction
- Participate in internal projects as needed
- Retain and grow the assigned book of business
- Support the Regional Team as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of health insurance industry experience OR High School diploma and 9 years previous Client Management experience and/or experience in a similar TPA or health insurance environment with client-facing/client support responsibilities
- Understanding of self-funding and employee benefit plans
- Knowledge and understanding of benefit-related federal laws, including ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and ACA
- Ability to travel is required, up to 25%
- Results oriented and self-motivated
- Ability to interact with senior level executives
- Analytical, problem-solving, and time management skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional organizational skills
- State insurance license preferred
- Stop loss understanding is a plus
- Remote employees must live within the continental United States, excluding Alaska, California, Hawaii, and New York
