Job Description
Client Service Specialist preparing commercial insurance documents, renewals, quotes, and risk data for The Baldwin Group. Supporting advisors and client service teams serving business insurance clients.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare documents for presenting risks to market
- Prepare applications, summaries of insurance, insurance certificates, auto identification cards, and other coverage-related documents
- Prepare and update draft renewal proposals
- Assist client service teams with presentation materials
- Analyze and summarize complex data and compile reports under supervision
- Record data in insurance company and firm software programs
- Run cancellation and expiration reports
- Process and complete endorsements and audits
- Process Notices of Cancellations
- Request Loss Runs
- Quote flood and builder’s risk policies as requested by an Account Manager
- Renew bonds and flood policies
- Complete special projects as assigned
- Identify opportunities to improve the firm, business segment, and processes
- Escalate issues and discrepancies to appropriate leadership
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience in the insurance industry required
- 2+ years of experience in the insurance industry preferred
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced team environment
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Ability to learn other appropriate programs or software systems used by the firm
- Demonstrates behavior aligned with the organization’s core values and culture
- No certifications required
- Maintains all licenses required by the State Department of Insurance to provide service, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in applicable states, or must be willing and able to obtain required licenses within the first 90 days of employment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
