Job Description

Cloud/DevOps SRE Engineer designing AWS infrastructure and CI/CD systems for GoFasti, a LatAm talent-as-a-service company. Improving reliability, observability, security, and deployment automation for client applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS
  • Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines for application delivery
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
  • Manage and optimize containerized workloads using Docker
  • Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, alerting, and observability solutions
  • Define and improve system health metrics, dashboards, and alerts
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and production issues
  • Support incident response and root-cause analysis for reliability issues
  • Implement security hardening and follow cloud infrastructure security best practices
  • Integrate code quality and security checks into development and deployment workflows, including SonarQube
  • Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve engineering efficiency
  • Collaborate with software engineers, Tech Leads, and Architects to improve application reliability and deployment processes
  • Help establish and maintain best practices around infrastructure, deployments, monitoring, and operational readiness
  • Proactively identify risks and bottlenecks across development and production environments

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, Cloud Engineering, or a related role
  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure
  • Strong experience with Docker and containerized applications
  • Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools
  • Experience implementing monitoring, alerting, logging, and system health metrics
  • Familiarity with security hardening and cloud security best practices
  • Experience with SonarQube or similar code quality/security tools
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work effectively with distributed engineering teams
  • Strong English communication skills
  • Based in Latin America and available to work remotely
  • Plus: experience with Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
  • Plus: experience with Terraform
  • Plus: familiarity with AWS networking, IAM, and security services
  • Plus: experience with Datadog, Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch
  • Plus: experience with incident management, post-incident reviews, SRE practices, SLIs, SLOs, error budgets, Agile/Scrum, or distributed/nearshore engineering teams
