Job Description
Especialista em SRE definindo padrões de observabilidade, incidentes e confiabilidade em AWS. Atuando na plataforma de software ERP da Omie para empreendedores brasileiros.
Responsibilities:
- Define and manage the global telemetry architecture (Metrics, Logs, Traces, and RUM/Synthetics) for heterogeneous systems on AWS
- Establish code instrumentation, distributed tracing, and log-structuring standards for development teams
- Evaluate, select, and manage the observability tool stack
- Map and structure alerting, alert management, and escalation workflows in partnership with the NOC
- Reduce alert noise (alert fatigue) through effective, symptom-based strategies and intelligent thresholds
- Create and standardize runbooks, operational dashboards, and rapid-remediation automations
- Implement and monitor SLIs, SLOs, and Error Budgets in partnership with Product Owners and engineering teams
- Lead critical incident management and promote a blameless postmortem culture
- Enable multidisciplinary teams to take ownership of the health of their applications
Requirements:
- Previous experience as an SRE Specialist, Principal SRE, Staff SRE, Observability Engineer, or Cloud Operations Architect
- Deep expertise in AWS architecture and native operational services (CloudWatch, X-Ray, CloudTrail, AWS Managed Prometheus/Grafana, and OpenSearch)
- Hands-on experience with OpenTelemetry and observability tools such as Datadog, Dynatrace, New Relic, Grafana Enterprise, Prometheus, ELK Stack, and TSUGA
- Experience designing workflows with On-Call and ITSM platforms (PagerDuty, Opsgenie, ServiceNow, and Jira Service Management) and integrating them with a NOC
- Knowledge of Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, and scripting/programming languages (Python, Go, and Bash)
- Strong command of microservices architectures, Docker, and Kubernetes (EKS)
- Ability to diagnose complex scenarios, propose architectural solutions, and build processes from the ground up
- Ability to connect tools to efficient operational workflows
- Excellent communication skills to articulate the SRE vision to development, product, and leadership teams
- AWS certifications are a plus (SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer Professional, or Solutions Architect Professional)
- Experience in the ERP software industry, financial systems, or high-criticality platforms is a plus
- Experience implementing SRE culture in legacy or heterogeneous environments is a plus
