Job Description
Innovative Health co-op supporting Johnson & Johnson’s clinical-trial innovation initiatives. Researching emerging solutions and helping deliver demonstration projects that improve patient and site experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research on emerging trends, technologies, and innovative approaches relevant to clinical development and patient experience
- Support market landscaping, competitive intelligence, and solution scouting activities
- Identify and document business challenges, opportunities, and unmet needs within clinical development
- Collect and analyze information from interviews, workshops, surveys, and other sources to generate actionable insights
- Develop and maintain databases, trackers, and repositories of innovative solutions, vendors, and partners
- Prepare presentations, reports, and summaries for leadership discussions and prioritization activities
- Assist with innovation demonstration projects evaluating new technologies, operational approaches, and solutions
- Support project planning, timelines, milestone tracking, meeting coordination, and documentation
- Participate in cross-functional project meetings and capture key decisions, actions, and outcomes
- Support data collection, analysis, reporting, business cases, project updates, and communications materials
- Identify risks, challenges, and opportunities for continuous improvement
- Collaborate with clinical development, data science, digital technology, procurement, legal, finance, communications, and external partners
- Present findings and recommendations to team members and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's, PharmD, PhD, MD, or equivalent degree in life sciences, pharmaceutical sciences, biomedical sciences, public health, business, engineering, data science, healthcare innovation, or a related field
- Strong academic performance and demonstrated interest in healthcare, clinical research, innovation, or technology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other productivity tools
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a global cross-functional team
- Permanently authorized to work in the U.S. and must not require sponsorship of an employment visa at the time of application or in the future
