Job Description
Component Manufacturing Implementation & Support Specialist managing software implementation and support in the building industry. Collaborating with sales and engineering teams to enhance customer solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the customer software implementation process. This will include developing and managing the implementation schedule, establishing customer success measures in alignment with system capabilities, advising on best practices, installing and configuring the system while developing, documenting, and facilitating end-user training.
- Coordinate projects with our Design Services and Component Review Services teams, working closely with internal and external customers to document, schedule, manage, design, and review projects as required.
- Act as a liaison between the customer and our software product and development teams by acting as a subject matter expert and bridge between all parties.
- Provide ongoing post-implementation support and training of ICS software systems, including assisting ICS Help Desk with existing customer support needs.
- Collaborate with the sales team by assisting them in performing client needs assessment to determine potential customer fit, advising on the technical capabilities of our software for demonstrations, and identifying technical requirements of the customer and ensuring our software can meet their needs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3-5 years of design and engineering of prefabricated metal plate connected wood trusses and/or EWP.
- Understanding of wood framed construction practices, details, related building codes, and design standards preferred.
- Ability to make sound business judgments.
- Ability to exhibit creativity and innovation when contributing to organizational and individual objectives.
- Ability to balance analysis, wisdom, experience, and perspective when making decisions.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
- Ability to identify options for solving a problem and evaluate the strengths and weaknesses.
- Ability to respond positively to change, embracing and using new practices or values to accomplish goals and solve problems.
- Ability to build and sustain productive customer relationships.
- Ability to work collaboratively with employees within department and across functions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously as well as quickly reallocate resources in order to respond to changing customer and team member needs.
- Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite, working knowledge of SQL databases, and basic understanding of computer networking, along with hardware and software troubleshooting.
