Job Description

Content Marketing Manager owning end-to-end content production for VyOS open-source networking software. Publishing SEO-focused web, blog, email, and social content without engineering involvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the content lifecycle from planning and writing through editing, publishing, and measurement
  • Run the content production and publication calendar across the main website, blog, and social channels
  • Write and edit blog posts, product and solution pages, landing pages, email content, and press releases
  • Publish and maintain content directly in DatoCMS using the Marketing Editor role
  • Own the customer Success Story pipeline, including interview coordination, drafting, customer approvals, and publication
  • Manage CMS content quality, including image sizing, alt text, metadata, slugs, structured fields, and internal linking
  • Coordinate with web development on new page templates, blocks, or schema changes
  • Maintain content governance across website, blog, documentation, and knowledge-base properties
  • Own on-page SEO for marketing content and contribute to answer-engine optimization
  • Monitor content performance using GA4, Search Console, and HubSpot analytics
  • Produce a monthly content report with recommended actions
  • Repurpose long-form content into social posts, newsletter items, and community forum announcements
  • Coordinate publication timing with product releases, events, and campaigns
  • Translate engineering and product material into accurate, readable marketing content
  • Verify technical claims with engineers before publishing
  • Support sales with one-pagers, comparison pages, and battlecards

Requirements:

  • Hands-on experience with a headless CMS such as DatoCMS, Contentful, Sanity, Storyblok, or similar
  • Native-level written English
  • Ability to edit technical drafts from non-native speakers into clean prose
  • Working knowledge of on-page SEO and web analytics, including GA4 and Search Console
  • Ability to read technical documentation and discuss network features credibly with network engineers
  • Self-directed and comfortable in a distributed team using Jira, Confluence, and Slack
  • 3+ years in content marketing or content management for a technical/B2B product
  • Networking, infrastructure, developer tools, or open-source experience strongly preferred
  • Networking/IT industry background or certifications, such as CCNA-level familiarity, nice to have
  • Experience with HubSpot, including blog, email, and CRM, nice to have
  • Experience in open-source communities, nice to have
  • Basic Markdown/HTML literacy and familiarity with Git-based workflows, nice to have
  • Experience producing customer case studies, including interview and approval management, nice to have
